busy month

November has been extremely busy around our house. We sold our house on Halloween! It had been off and on the market for 2 years and it sold a few weeks before baby was due. So, we packed and moved quickly. We moved into my grandmothers old house until we can build in the next year or so. We love it there! We have still been getting everything finalized with the sale of our house but we did get pretty well settled in before Anna Meryn made her arrival. We actually moved the weekend before she was born! It really all worked out great. Then of course we had Anna Meryn on the 19th! So, the week of Thanksgiving we rested as much as possible and are now looking forward to Christmas in a new home with a new little blessing! God is so good!

we didn't get a family pic with Ike on our camera; hopefully one of the grandparents did; he was there!

Anna Meryn is a week and a half old! She is precious and so good! She is very laid back and very rarely gets upset. She has her own little look to me. She resembles her brother and sister in ways, but she really doesn't look like any of us in particular. She is such a joy and we are definitely all in love with her. Hope you enjoy all the pics. Sorry, there are a lot of them.

Anna Meryn is here

Anna Meryn entered the world this morning at 10:33. She weighed 6 pounds even and is 17.25 inches long. We are praising God for a healthy beautiful baby girl! We are all in love with her and can't wait to get her home. We sold our house and moved last weekend so we are ready for a relaxing Thanksgiving. Even a Thanksgiving week with 2 little ones and a newborn is sounding pretty relaxing after the past few weeks around our house! I'll post pics soon!

Anna Meryn's Showers

This was my family shower and the only one I took my camera to.

Supper Club Shower

School Shower

We are so blessed to have such good family and friends! We have had several showers to get ready for Anna Meryn. I only remembered my camera at the last one. But, I did at least take a picture of all the gifts after the showers. So here they are! We can't wait to meet her!

Good Chaos (sp)?

On Friday we found out that we had a contract on our house and a couple hours later we found out our baby sitter we had lined up for Anna Meryn was not going to be able to keep her anymore! What a day! Saturday we finalized the selling price of our house and we sold it! I can't believe it! We have had our house on the market for 2 years now (off and on) and this is the first valid offer we've had. The people just saw it for the first time Friday morning and by Sat. afternoon we had a deal! So, what next? In the next 3 - 4 weeks Anna Meryn will enter the world and we will have to pack and move. We are probably moving into my grandmother's house (she's in assisted living now) right by my dad's family. But, her house isn't even empty or cleaned out yet either. We also now have to rearrange childcare for this new baby! What a month it will be. Hopefully we will get settled soon and can enjoy our new baby and the holidays!

Halloween 2009

It was hard to get all three still. Meri-Campbell was a pig!

RoRo with DC and Jacob

Just like his daddy. He had been stabbed!

This was a great Halloween! Jacob was a pirate and Davis Claire was a fairy princess! We keep our trick or treating to the minimum which was nice for a change. We went to Ike's moms and then to my aunt's house which was where my mom's whole family was. My aunt and mom planned the kids a halloween party/MSU vs. KY game watching party. They worked so hard for the kiddos. We had chilli, mummy dogs, monster punch with a frozen hand in it, vampire teeth apples, Frankenstien marshmellow suckers, eye balls made with vanilla pudding, life savers, and jellybeans, and all sorts of halloween food. It was such a fun, relaxing time and the kids had a ball! Uncle Ronnie, Kirk, and Kyle scared them to death a few times with scary masks, but it was fun!

Here's more pumpkin patch pictures.

DC in her dance "soup" as she says

DC came out of her room like this one day and said she was ready to go to church!

This fall we've been having fun and staying busy. Davis Claire is taking a dance class now. Jacob is playing soccer and taking karate. A few weeks ago we went to the pumpkin patch with some friends. We are sick of the rain but enjoying the cooler weather. We are all anxiously awaiting Anna Meryn's arrival! Here's a few pictures of what we've been up to.
